Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 4, 2026 • Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service apply to both LunaLux HDR and LunaLux Editor, the two macOS applications published by LunaLux.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LunaLux HDR or LunaLux Editor, or visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not download or use the software.

2. License Grant

When you purchase a LunaLux HDR Pro or LunaLux Editor Pro lifetime license, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, and non-transferable license to use that specific application according to the following terms:

  • Device Limit: Each Pro license may be activated on up to 3 personal Mac computers owned and operated primarily by the individual purchaser.
  • Product Scope: A Pro license purchased for LunaLux HDR unlocks LunaLux HDR only; a Pro license purchased for LunaLux Editor unlocks LunaLux Editor only. The two products are licensed and sold separately.
  • Commercial Use: You are free to use photos processed by LunaLux HDR or LunaLux Editor for both personal and commercial photography projects, exhibitions, and publications with zero royalty obligations.
  • Free Updates: Your Pro purchase includes all minor and major updates within that product's 1.x product cycle.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Publicly distribute, share, lease, sell, or sublicense your license key or activation credentials.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble proprietary binary portions of LunaLux HDR or LunaLux Editor, except to the extent permitted by applicable open-source third-party licenses.
  • Use the software for any unlawful purpose.

4. Refund Policy

All purchases are backed by our 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you may request a 100% refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing [email protected].

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

LunaLux HDR and LunaLux Editor are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we take pride in rigorous engineering and non-destructive image handling, we cannot guarantee error-free operation across all third-party camera or scanner hardware, or future macOS updates.

In no event shall LunaLux, LunaLux HDR, LunaLux Editor, or their developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or photographic assets. We strongly recommend adhering to standard 3-2-1 backup practices for all raw camera files and film scans.
